LIMINAL SPACES

Illuminating large spaces creates opportunity for dramatic portals of light. As the space fills with bright midday light, the surfaces of the architecture become expressive and revealing.

Corridors use mirrors to brighten the liminal space, and become transitory spaces that refract light in unexpected ways. As the empty rooms and hallways echo with sound and light, the day seems still and timeless... until the intermittent clouds that pass by dim the space.
