SANGUINE SYMBOLISM

Crimson Legacy

The life that flows through our veins was once a sacred substance, used in symbolism, rituals, rites and celebrations. The color red has a long history with mankind, with some of the oldest records of colors in written language being red. The body is inanimate without the mana of blood, a lifeforce in itself.

Through blood, our ancestors pass on the lifeforce that allows a continuation of legacy, a lineage of the bloodline. A biological heritage, that crimson symbol of family and blood-ties binds individuals, into a familial identity that exists beyond any one lifetime.
